About Us

Hand made by friends and family in a barn outside of English, Indiana.

In the late 70's Richard moved to a farm in Crawford County, Ind., built a pond and made kites, incorporating his family and friends into the business.

Many Thanks to my Mom and Dad for the many years of help and support, to my friend Ansel Toney who worked with me in those early years making new kite designs and to all my family members and friends I'm not sure what would have happened without all of you.

Due to the wonderful comments and testimonials about our kites, we have decided to rebuild our website and business. Look here often for new designs and thank you for your patience as we rebuild.

All prices include shipping and handling in the Continental United States.

All of our kites come with an instruction card for assembly and flying. Sun Oak Kites are always being tested and improved as the need arises to assure you a good flying, high quality kite.
